Is your motor semi closed cooled like my LS3 nitrous?

What are your steps? Just drain the manifolds via the quick plugs or do you actually pull hoses?

2 bolts on ea manifold- lots of water comes out

1 1/2" Allen bolt under the end of the Vdrive- lots of water

3-4 small bolts on the impellor cover

1 hose clamp on hose that goes into tranny and one on the out side

2 bolts on the bottom of the heat exchanger

Strainer

Heater

Where is the strainer? Also the heater doesn't need drained because it uses antifreeze

If you have a raw water strainer..... it'd likely be 1-2ft down stream after your raw water intake seacock on the hull bottom.

Depends on whether you have a closed cooled or partially closed cooled engine. 2014 was the first year the ls3 came standard with partial closed cooled. Otherwise, you need to blow out the heater core.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
