Break In?

Break in as the manual advises......then run it like you stole it for the next few hours.... Surprised.gif

Those are the instructions my dealer gave to me.

The break in period is about as conservative as you can get. I bet everybody here has pushed their boat harder and sooner then is "reccomended" without doing any damage. It is tough to buy a new boat any not go out hard behind it the first time you go out..

The dealers and factory run them hard. They test wide open for rpm level, etc...So don't go up and down the lake wide open, but don't be scared to push it a little.

I think the person I'd like to hear the opinion of is..... Mr. GalaxyToad (aka Eagledriver).

If I recall, he's rebuilt more engines than probably my Chevy dealer around the corner.

When he talks motors, I listen!
