Angling them up helps not blow out the people in the back of the boat when people are riding. Also points the speakers better at the rider when the you have a little bow rise

CJAY,

What did you end up doing for a sub? Any more pics of your install?

Looking for some good ideas on the install! :-) I ended up going Exile for the towers and sub, but Wet Sounds for the tub. 5 amps power everything.

I'm actually putting in an RE audio sub with 1000 watt RE amp. I haven't gotten that installed yet. I'm having professionals do my amps, 420, build the sub box and install it. That way I get it properly tuned up also. I'm only running 4 amps, SD6, 2 Syn4s, and the RE amp. What all are you running?

Did I see an Airchair rack in the upper position?!!! Is this working for you okay as I want to do the same, just thought it had to be in lower mount. Does it swivel in?

Yeah it's a comptech rack. Doesn't really matter which height you put it, except the power is probably easier to load the foil when on the trailer. I had to put it up top so the other rack is usable, otherwise the stem blocks the use of the other rack. I still have to change the arms on it, so the ski faces the other way, that way the seat won't cause issues with the other rack. It does swivel, it's a really nice rack

Yeah, it's loud. I need to tune the the EQ for the tower and in boats to get it how I want it. Man that RE sub makes your vision blurry when turned up

My dash isn't bad, but the walkthrough speakers rattle and sound distorted if I turn up the bass too much. I'm a little worried about the sub rattling something loose under the helm though. I'm not a huge bass head, so I will keep the sub turned down between 25-50% 99% of the time, sot hat it just fills out the sound
