My issues with tubers and jet skis you never know what direction they are going in the next second. Skiers boarders surfers bare footers fishermen most any one else you have an educated guess.

Around me, there are some pro level jet skiers who do backflips off our wake, but do it a good 200 feet back and always make eye contact with the driver ahead of time and very obviously know what they're doing. Those dudes are safe and know how far to stay away to avoid a fallen rider. In fact, I love watching them do flips. It's crazy.

The problem is that the renters do stupid stuff and will go really close to someone surfing or boarding. I haven't seen that as much in CA as I saw it on Lake Austin, honestly, but it's still a problem.

Would love to see that! They will wrap the driver in the tube and knock them off! At least they can't go fast while flyboarding. :)

I think it depends on which make/model their on. I've seen at least 2 different ones so far. One was an attachment to an existing PWC & needed a rider on it for safety's sake. The other did not have a 2nd person involved. I assume the first one is less expensive & safer. But you know that someday, some yahoo is going to aim one of those jets at someone, either on purpose or by accident, and cause a big ruckus because of it.
