Ran the radio power and groud straight to the battery yesterday, I plan to install a distro block this week.

If you have a perko everything positive (+) should terminate at the perko common post not the battery. Otherwise it's possible to have something draining a battery that isn't seeing a charge.

How about running the power and ground to the dist. Blocks. That wa you run on.e main cable to the coomon on the perko to control everything. Same concept with ground but run the main cable to battery ground post.

Also - not everything has to go to perko. My boat came factory with bilge pump power direct to battery.
