Do you have a fill hole that you can see?

I have had same problem with 05 extreme trailer. Spoke to my trailer people who advised I go back to buddy bearings. They said extreme doesn't use this system anymore.... must be a reason.

I have a 2011 Extreme trailer that still had the Vault hubs.

When they warm up they push out to relieve the pressure. 1/4" is no concern the center can move almost a inch

My bearings blew out over weekend on rear axel (with the brake). When I spoke to Extreme yesterday they said they now use a "hybrid grease"

I could not see through the cap to see if oil was there. Given I was only going 60 miles I didn't expect problems. There was no sign of oil leaking before I left.

Interesting issue for sure. It's great a forum like this is out there.

Thanks to everyone
