Another update... I have about 300 bucks into replacement parts at this point and I think I am ready to reassemble the lift. I'll grab some pics of it going back together and floating across the bay!

It is not a floatable dock but the design could probably be tweaked do so. The dock sits on braces and is removed in the fall & installed in the spring.

Update on my lift situation... I managed to erect the thing today. I have to get a bunch more hardware but it is actually going to work! (A year later...)
