depth finder acting up

I am having a similar issue with my 07 VLX. Depth reads 0.0 no matter where I am. It worked just fine until last week. Replacement pucks are out of stock on bakesonline and dealers are telling me they don't have any replacements in stock. Wiring also looks good. Not sure what to do next besides purchase an aftermarket Hawkeye in it's place....

I am having the same issue. I have a 2006 Malibu Response LXI with a monsoon 340. My depth sounder will not work. I have tried almost everything. I replaced the sensor twice. I replaced the MMDC. The only thing I think hasn't been done is the control module that the sensor plugs into. Does anyone know where I can get one? We don't have a Malibu dealer here in Nova Scotia Canada. I have been dealing with this issue for years. My acknowledge button on the dash is probably next to go..

I also would like to replace the chrome dash plate that holds the gauges. It has become very crappy.
