transom LED lights below water line

My tanks are above the floor and there is no way to access the transom below the water line on the inside of the platform brackets. The pig tails on the lights were not long enough to have access after connected so I had to connect additinal wire before I installed them and work the splices through the transom hole also. Then I had to fish the wires from the rear forward through a small hole in the steel frame which has the motor mounted on it. It was a very tough job, I sure hope it will be worth it. I keep telling myself the dealer would have charged $500 or more to do this. Malibu did not intend the 2004 LSV Wakesetter to have below the water transom lights. All I have left is to install some switches and she will be ready for the lake for the 4th of July.

Adding the dual battery hookup was very easy!!

Just a follow up to brand.

I installed two of the solid brass Abyss Brand LED's (blue color). They are already bezeled with space on the back to allow water to get around them. The beauty is the small 1/16" single hole for each to pass the wire thru the hull. Then screwed and siliconed to hull. They are not cheap, but considered the best out there.
