There is something screwy with the Hull ID number listed on the ad. (MG2K9975G405) The first 3 letters and numbers of the HIN will give the manfacturer. Malibu is MB2 not MG2. No such manufacturer as MG2. I do not know if this is a typo or a scam. The last four symbols in the HIN represent the month and year the boat was made. G 405 should mean that the boat was made in July of 2005.

Given the rest of the ad I'd say a typo isn't to unbelievable.
