OKAY. I think I got it.

I did not actually have to remove the screws on top. Just the two on the little malibu plate and the once underneath above the middle gauge. It did, however, help to remove the other screws on top, as I was able to pop out the middle pod of the dash where the three gauges are. Looks like home sailing from here on out.

Just waiting on the replacement gauge for now.

I'll take some pics so it helps others.

Removing the old wiring was a real bugger though. I'm still waiting on the new multiline display so I can put it all back together. Oh, and I recommend picking up the chip remover from Radio Shack. Cheaper than getting it from PP.

It's a PLCC Chip extractor. They'll(Radio Shack) know what you're talking about if you call them. The chip was very easy to replace.
