Monster Towers makes an adapter for that mirror too.

Thanks for that, I have one of those kicking around somewhere, i knew it was for a mirror but couldn't quite remember exactly what it was for.

I was thinking about getting one of the mirrors that hangs down from the illusion towers, but the bracket for them all look pretty large as it wraps around the front of the tower. The first thing I thought was how will the bracket effect the bimini? Does anyone have one of the drop down mirrors on the illusion tower, and deal with the bimini?

I have the samson on my boat with the bimini without a problem. you can see there is a slight bulge in the bimini where the bracket is.

Looks great MA, thanks for the pics, the rubber insert is a great idea, wish I would have thought of that!! I just wish I hadn't drilled that hole at the joint, but it's hardly noticeable in the pics. Glad it worked out for yuh Thumbup.gif

Yeah, that hole is no biggie at all. Thanks again for helping another crew member out!

Any great ideas how to do this without the tower?

The CIPA Extreme mirror pictured above would certainly clamp onto the top of the windshield and the pivot would allow you to angle it however you like. It's a sweet mirror.

Duh, staring me right in the face and I never saw that option. Thanks Mr. Archer.
