So tomorrow is the day I have slated to re-configure my ballast system. I have the new thru hull fittings, street 90 and ball valve for the intake. I am pretty sure I have enough hose to move the pumps.

I'll try and snap some pics of the progression.

Good luck with it. I'm making slow and steady progress. so far I have completed the intake plumbing installation. i now have the drain and electrics to do. the drain is less involved so that should happen quickly and then the electrics will simply be a case of which useless switches I use on my existing switch panel. Before you ask I have an Echelon with the infamous computer that is just extra ballast and as such hardly any of my switches actually do anything.

Hi Guys

So for those of you I have chatted to recently, you know I had a starter motor problem and my carb cleaned out. with a rebuilt starter the boat runs great! I also finished my ballast install last week and tested it out. It works well, however tonight I went out and when I wanted to pump out the water nothing was happening. I looked at the pump and saw that there was air in the pipe and that there was not enough water to prime. I will add photos tomorrow but my inlet to the pump and the outlet both are significantly higher than the pump so once primed it should stay primed. My opinion is that I must have a slight leak as I don't know how the air is getting to the pump. Anyhow when I post the photos' I'll be asking you for your thoughts on the install.

By the way I am now jumping wake to wake no problem at 20 mph and the two 400lb fatsacs filled next to th engine bay. The sacs work!
