I have no idea what sport that is but wow!

It is called Equestrian Vaulting.  Kind of a combination of dance, gymnastics and trick riding.  (Never call it trick riding)  She is moving in a circle at Canter speed.  Pretty damn quick.  Amazing skill these athletes have.

Here is one from a few months ago.  Horse was being a bit of a dork.  Pretty slow.

How fast do you pull him at? My son is 8 and about right at 60 lbs. Its our goal to get him up this summer.

Aiden rides and 20.5. His first year 14-15 was plenty as he was getting accustom to his board and riding in general. Last year he competed at 19 mph when he was 8. I would suggest keeping them at lower speeds until they build some confidence. You could probably pull him at 12-13 mph at his weight.

Post pics of his progress!

Enjoy them while they are young and daddy's girl, cause someday they grow up and bring some dude home and say they're in love. Sometimes it sucks to get old. Time flies from here on out.

I already got that "Dude" picked out, he's a little charmer, slightly younger but they say he's advanced for his age! ;)

Ha!  I'm sure that won't backfire!

I was teaching my little 11 year old princess how to punch a few months ago.  She left some bruises on me!

These posts are bittersweet for me.  My oldest is 7 and time is already flying by.   I'm excited as they get older and are able to do more and more, but nothing is ever more true as a parent than "time flies".   I don't want to even think of my babies walking across the stage yet.

True that.  Pausing my kids at about 9-12 would be ideal.

Wait a few more years, you'll toss them across the stage ;)  The empty nest sure is nice 9 months a year

Haha and then there's this.  It's going to be different with the youngest gone in the fall.  We had kids relatively young, so my wife and I are looking forward to doing some adventuring on our own (and on our schedule, not the school district's).

I'm finding with grandkids that we are going to be tied back into the school schedule once more.  It's all good though.
