Malibu-Watersports Wish List

Racor LG50 (do the v-drives need this?)

On ours I have not installed one and have not had a problem.

Although some of that might be because I keep a pretty close eye on the tank. Pop up the middle seat above the V drive and the back of the tank is right there.

If you do decide to install it then you would need 2 of them to do it right.

I'm not sure what I was smoking at the time Dontknow.gif I could of swore there was 2 vent lines but last night to a look again and just one port side. Sorry

Actually this was just a test you guys passed with flying colors Thumbup.gif

I thought this might be fun.  Things that I want for the Malibu or for playing in the water.  Feel free to add yours!  Maybe I am forgetting something.

- New wakeboard & bingings (thinking LF Team right now)

- Wakeboard handle (have an Accurate A-line with no handle)

- New vest

- Helmet

- Anchor buddy

- Sub woofer and amp

- Tower speakers and amp

- Spare tire for the trailer (I know, I know)

- Stainless steel cupholders (In transit)

- Oil boy

That's a good start.  Ka-ching $$$$  It's only money, right? Biggrin.gif

Ok. Following Edwin's lead, scratch the new wakeboard and bindings. Picked up the LF Balance with Team bindings. Yahoo.gif

Okay, so add the Racor to my list.

Has anyone installed the racor on new VLX? I actually ordered one couple months ago, but haven't installed it. There's room, but the vent line comes off the tank on a 90-degree fitting, and is horizontal at that point.

It makes a gentle upgward bend up to the sidewall, never going vertical. Since you want the racor vertical and close to the tank, it would appear like it would work best to attach the racor right on top of the tank, vertical, in place of the 90-degree fitting, then re-install the 90 on top of the racor, over to the side.
