I think that running that fuel pump dry wrecked it. I installed another new one and added a check valve right after the fuel filter to keep the fuel line and pump full. Now I will be able to verify the power valve leak down (fuel in the line but not the bowl). I took it out and it ran fine so the added check valve dosn't seem to add too much restriction. Now the real test will be to see if it starts up tomorrow morning. Anyone have a source for a Holley rebuild kit?

Well the check valve after the fuel filter seemed to do the trick. In the morning I had to crank it let the pump run, repeat, then it would start up once the bowl was full. All day it started up normal and ran great. I think a carb overhaul is in order, now if I can track down a kit I'll be set. Thanks for all the input.
