I got a great laugh picturing you guys in full dive gear (tanks and all) under your boats. I'm actually going to invest in a diving bell now, just in case!

As far as tools, I agree with what's been listed: a small tool box (that I only use in the boat), a knife, swim goggles, a folding multi-tools comprised mostly of screw drivers, a tow rope, and always a cell phone. The one time I had to be towed (friend turned the battery selector to "all" instead of one), the hardest part was finding a boat with a rope they were willing to tow with. I keep considering a jump box, but I'm starting to feel like I have a lot of gear already!
