Tow with a Navigator?

As far as looks in the Cadi you may be mistaken for a Rap star, and don't the spinners come standard. :)

What about the GMC Danali with the 6.0 maybe you can get the quad steer too.

I heard quadra steer was cancelled.

As for the diesel in the burb, heck, why not look for a used one. I know for sure you can still get the 8.1 in the burb. Thats not bad.

If the money was anywhere close, I'd be in the Escalade over the Navi. Better drive-train, better resale.

If you like the Navigator, do yourself a favor & compare it against the Expedition Limited optioned up w/air suspension, etc. You can get nearly all the Nav features, and save significant $$. We did that this past fall, & went with the '05 Expy & saved nearly $12k, even with the X-Plan pricing.

You'll give up the 6-speed (which really would be very nice for towing). The Limited is a notch up from the Eddie Bauer Expedition- low-back, full power heated/cooled seats, retractable mirrors, wood steering wheel & dash accents, chrome roof rack & wheels (but still a notch below the Navigator).

We also shopped the Denali- the 6.0L motor is hands-down better than the Ford 5.4L, but the total package didn't work as well for us. Live axle rear clanked & banged over every uneven surface, 3rd row seating was a joke, and the fit & finish of the interior looked like something from an '88 Bonneville.

The Expy Limited is a real stealth Q-ship- if you want the Nav features without the rapper attitude, it's worth a look.
