I’ve heard they are hard to find. However, it was removed because it’s just in the way. I also removed ours. If I pull a tube or slalom, I hook to the back and anything else gets towed from the tower. If you end up getting the boat and insist on replacing it, I still have my old one. Maybe we can work something out.

Good work!!
Now I get to try my hand at fixing!! I want to see if I can machine an end cap. I thought maybe I read somewhere I can send it in for a cap replacement, but can’t hurt to DIY it first eh!!!

Just purchased my first boat last week. Can't wait to put her in the lake and see what she can do. A beautiful 1996 Malibu Response 20 (closed bow) that has been meticulously carred for by her first 2 owners. I am thrilled to be her 3rd owner. Found a diamond to behold. I found rusty particles in my fuel injectors. I'm suspecting they came from bad gas from a gas station with old underground tanks. I'll be checking out my tank for the offending mass of rusty particles. I hope its not a failing fuel pump. Anyone find rusty particles after had to change out a fuel pump?· 0 replies
