I’m looking for input from anyone that has bought the Uptice flag mount/side pull combo.  I would like to add a mount for a skier flag as “required” for Illinois, and have thought about this combo but want the side pulls mounted where my lower racks are, and the flag mount on the upper rack position.  I think I’ll just need the shorter bolt for the side pulls, but not sure on the flag mount.  I emailed Uptice and was advised I’d need to submit for a custom project, but if I just need to source different mounting bolts, I can do that.  How is the flag mount secured to the tower?  Is the mount base threaded like a rack is?

I'm gathering i should trailer it out and wipe it down every few weeks and I should be okay - is this fair?

I'll buy the microfiber towels and the babes/mission products? Or do you think thats not enough to get through the season? I also have a Jeep Wrangler which is listed to tow at 3500 pounds, working on a truck, but i spent all my money on the boat, will there be issues pulling it out of the water to wipe down and launching again with the Jeep?

Should just be gas.  Honestly not sure why it matters, but every gas shock I have seen has a marked direction and they do tend to be rod down.

I don't have a "surf left preset".

All ballast full, 11mph, wedge 3, extra 300 in bowish area, M5, 2277, 100% fuel, I run about 3400 rpm.

I have a 10hr service appt and swim step install this Fri at Detroit location and they agreed yesterday to let me wait/help and take it home same day. Hope that’s still the plan!
