The screen problem we are talking about is on the 2011-14 Malibus with the touch screen to the right of the steering wheel. They all delaminate and eventually fail. Malibus solution is to sell you a new one for thousands of dollars and it will also fail. Malibu has made no effort to change the way the screens are made so this will not happen even though its not that hard. Third party companies have stepped in to fix the problem. I'm not aware of any consistant problems with newer screens.

And Im not knowledgeable on this kind of thing, but I would think all these boats that the banks will sell off will have an affect on how much dealers buy for little while which will just add fuel to the fire. 

MC investor call is 05/08.  This will determine if these numbers are isolated or industry wide.  I.E. are these as bas they look...

They did say they were going to adjust production to better meet the market demand, while at the same time being a little more aggressive in price points.

Revenue missed, but EPS beat estimates this quarter.  Stock is down a little on the open today. 

Predicted Q4 and Year-End Q4 for revenue to be down 40%.

Overall the company reported uncertain economic conditions (interest rates) will remain and focus will be on dealer inventory.  Much will depend on how summer sales decreases inventory and that effects production numbers and factory staffing.

Sounded like 2025 will be flat sales.
