I wouldn’t consider <0.1% of total outstanding loans to be significant, or ~3.5% of what they have on their B/S for loan losses.  But I’m not in the banking industry, so I could be wrong.  Either way, I would not expect the Tommy’s situation to cause the bank to go look for a bail out from Uncle Sam (which was initially suggested as a potential).

The thermostat is located very low on the front bank 2 side of the engine, which is on the port side of the boat.  You will see a large seawater tube and hoses that connect the rectangular thermostat adaptor housing to the the raw water pump.

I can’t tell you exactly where it is but I can confirm that it’s pretty easy to fix.  Local Bu shop found mine was intermittently failing on my preseason check this year.  I was only charged for the minimum 30 mins of tech time, it likely was a 10 minute job.
