@23LSVOwner wow! By far the best set of Malibu wiring diagrams I've ever seen. Do you have them for other years too?

I once found a cross reference guide for my boat trailer but I cannot find it anywhere. I want to say the calipers were from a 70 something Chevy sedan? Anyways if anyone can help me find the parts I need I would really appreciate it!

The reports reference the Malibu segment, the saltwater fishing segment, and the Cobalt segment.    Looking at it, you're correct, the three segments decreased by 866, 337, and 145 units to combine for a total loss of 1368 across all segments.   I'd have to go back and look at all the older reports to pull Malibu "segment" only numbers, and the formats change over time so the data may not be there.  Maybe one day when I'm bored....

Yep, I was talking to the “Malibu Segment” which includes Malibu + Axis… this is the most relevant to folks on this forum. 

Sorry, I forgot to add I did install new plug wires as well!

And yes, I do run ethanol fuel. 

Would all these factors contribute to poor idle? Do I need a new carb?

That’s a tough call in my opinion because options, colors, dealer relationship, etc would also weigh in on the decision. To me, maintaining a standing or creating a new dealer relationship is also worth money. How much? I think that’s completely up to each individual. Also, paying cash, half and half, full finance? Depending on how that breaks down for you could impact your delta too.
