I have 2 250 hard tanks rear with 850 bags in each locker. 2-250 hard center tanks and 300 front tank and then 300 pounds of lead I move around.  I also have a power wedge

Hi Zippy, how does the power wedge position affect the wake? I’m having GSA installed on my 2010 23 lsv next week and any setup tips would be appreciated. I have power wedge, all 4 factory ballast and P&P rear ballasts. Thanks!

    • Doing a steering cable replacement (and HDS reseal b/c of leaking) and found this pole free floating in the very back of the boat, under the gas tank.

Found some free floating bolts too about an inch and a half in length

Doubt it was affecting anything but was curious if anyone recognized it before it goes in the bin. And yes - the bilge is in desperate need of a cleaning.

I also had GSA on my 23LSV and it was a night and day difference between listing the boat.  I now have a 2019 w/ surfgate and there are still some things I prefer about GSA over Surfgate.  Worth every penny.

Hi Greg, I just picked up a 2010 23 LSV and am having GSA installed next week. Any advise on setup? I have rear additional P&P ballast bags and the power wedge. Did you need any additional weight? Thanks!

    • Thanks for the insight.

I have not talked to any prop shops yet as I want to make sure it's running tip top and get a feel for how it's performing.

Last time I was out I heard what seemed like an arcing plug wire. Checked them all and could still here it. This morning I replaced the plug wires along with a very fouled up cap and rotor. This made a world of difference. I was able to hit 4400-4500 rpm and it really smoothed out the rpm range to wot.

I will make some calls this week and see what the prop pros recommend.

I have read a lot of comments that say to go with a 1235 but will definitely look into the 15" proprs.

2016 23 LSV - I was also having the same issue this morning.  After a long tow, I launched the boat today but the gas gauge, surf gate and wedge were  not working.   I had this issue earlier this season after a service where they did some work under the helm.  I thought I had solved it by verifying that all wires were connected properly.

After searching through a number of threads someone mentioned a loose ground connection solved their issue.  I checked the ground block under the helm and sure enough two screws needed tightening.
