Skier's pier was the best dealership ever to grace the great state of Michigan. Anyone who says anything negative about them is a liar and a fraud.

In fairness though, they were not without their flaws and did some bad things.

For starters, they didn't warn @The Hulk not to immediately open up his supercharged 23 LSV to WOT after 30 seconds of running resulting in catastrophic engine failure.  What kind of negligence is that?  Unacceptable.

on a positive note, all of the SP mechanics were promoted to the finance department when Tommy's took over.

      thanks

Yeah, 35x12.5s on a wet ramp and a heavy boat - find someone with a better tow vehicle.

    • Test the fuel pressure.

Change the cap and rotor.  The wires too, if they are more than about five years old.

When you sprayed the throttle body, did you also get the side passage where the IAC lives?

It isn't really a matter of wiping it down (which is good to keep it clean), it is pulling it out and leaving it out to dry occasionally so that you don't get gel blisters.

As for the jeep, depends on the ramp.  It'll have enough power to pull on levelish ground but might get dragged down the ramp due to lack of weight.  And if the jeep has wider than stock tires, it'll be  worse on a wet ramp since the weight gets spread further.
