    • Do as @justgary says. Or if you have heater you can use it to pull the new wires. Either direction works but often access to disconnect hose at heater is tricky so tape new wires to hose at engine, disconnect it from engine block, pull hose and wires into footwell, untape wires, pull more wire through, tape wires to hose and pull it back. Easy. While doing it pull through third wire as a draw wire for any future wiring installs.

      I was fortunate and engine already had 'spare' engine temp sensor wired to dash. I recall wire being brown. I didn't need to add a new oil pressure sensor. Not sure why you're needing to do that. Different engine? Mine's Monsoon 340.

      Engine hours is visible on PerfectPass display, and can also be read from engine ECM with appropriate tool, so I wasn't concerned about loss of that.

      I fitted a Hawkeye 2BX to get depth, water temp and air temp.  See my 'after' photo link in post above.

      I did reach out to them and will most likely have to go that route.

      And I'm not saying that anyone would refuse the work, but they will definitely prioritize their customers first. And if I'm a dealer, I'd be making sure every ounce of warranty work was preapproved by Malibu before I turned the first bolt. That could take some time. This industry is not like the car industry at all. 

      These are not everyday necessity items. These are luxury and high performance items. 

      Yes, they are luxury items, it doesn't mean you just throw money at them and accept whatever the dealers/Malibu is forcing on you.   I still don't understand losing money on a warranty repair.

      That will be the outcome if they don't stand behind the product.   As a dealer would you want to sell a product that will have issues and that you'll lose money on fixing?   I'll ask again like in my original post: why is warranty work tied to the purchase in any way?

      Malibu's most recently issued independent audit is for June 30, 2023, with a report date of 8/29/23. I suspect KPMG's audit procedures aren't protecting MBUU much in this scenario unless they performed interim audit procedures for the 6/30/24 audit on Tommy's as a major customer.  Even if they were I doubt it has any bearing on this situation.  With the departure of MBUUs CFO and Springer earlier this year I don't think we can infer much about the business dealings between MBUU and Tommy's in the last several months from the past audit.

      Also don't forget KPMG issued a clean audit opinion last year for Silicon Valley Bank.  Roughly negative 3 hours before the bank was seized by the FDIC.

      Depending what part of Norris you are talking about, those could be legit numbers. Just north of Sequoyah is more than 200-ft deep, and it gets near that towards the dam. If you are seeing those numbers up east of the Peninsula or down on the part of the lake I call the "Big Lake", you got problems. 

      Incidentally, my '16 23LSV shows "--" when it gets above 200. 

      Cool, this is just up the lake from Sequoyah.
