      Let’s tap the brakes a bit…

You’re throwing out some serious allegations without a shred of evidence. Either share your evidence of “pump and dump fraud” or post a picture of your tinfoil hat.

To those of us who DO buy more than one boat every century and DO have knowledge of the inner workings of how boats are ordered and how the Malibu -to- Dealer business model is set up… your version of events just doesn’t line up.

Also, isn’t it interesting that only ONE dealer is in this kind of trouble….???

Having a quota and pressure to hit market share is normal. THE DEALER HAS TO PUSH THE BUTTON TO MAKE A BOAT SHOW UP.

Tend to agree I've heard BU always pushes for inventory and they probably all do.  That said many independent dealers have been dropped for not taking enough or moving enough(depends on your side).

In either case they made the choice to take on risk or move on though

    • Sure, let me get my hands on it later today. Here is a picture of what it will look like. It gives you like 6 inches higher than the back and like 3 feet forward.

If you’re looking to slalom course ski, you’re looking at the wrong boat.

    • Could you sell me yours?

I can’t buy the boat without a pylon. How am I gonna waterski? Is it hard to replace it?

You might be overthinking it. There is a tow point on the back of the boat you can use or you can tow from the tower. If you put the pylon back, it’s held on with a through bolt with a big nut on the end, you will constantly have to avoid hitting your knee and foot on it while coming on the boat. Which is why they and I removed it.
