    • I'd put the factory cam back in it.

Engine is speed density. Unless the cam changes are minor it cannot compensate for it.

I was 0-3 getting a kid to be a Bobcat...but 3-3 for having Miami Redhawks. :-) Last one graduates next week!

Did they get to overlap while being there? I had a semester with my sister at the same school and was very grateful for that

      Still a hard no

Haha. I feel the same way. And one of my old businesses just happened to be owning a Malibu dealership. You couldn't write me a big enough check to do it, even if you asked me during covid sales boom, which is why I have so much respect for those that are doing it above board and doing it well.

What if you sold that business, pocketed the proceeds, and could suddenly get back in for $0…?

      Still not interested…?

      Still a hard no

    • Hey @KnoxTNBoats follow Csleaver recommendation, I have the exact same motor and year and had the exact same problem, Csleaver nailed it. I had a small amount of rust buildup inside the small metal crossover tube (it's what the air breather tube goes into and crosses over to the other side of the engine). It's very easy to remove it and inspect. once I cleaned out the rust out everything operated as normal.  I wouldn't have figured it out without Csleaver.
