One thing I noticed from the photos is there's a PerfectPass servo motor attached to the engine, but there's no PerfectPass display.  Wonder if they yanked that out or it failed.

Amazing price on that boat if everything is working.

It is there, but my sea trial did not prove it working. I have no reason to believe it does not...  It's not particularly important to my use, so I didn't test it, but I expected will work based on the conditions of the boat in general.

It's located forward of the radio panel and to the right of the dashboard.

I thought initially that the radio face panel was missing, but in reviewing my pictures I found that it was actually in the chart compartment, so that, too I expect will also work so it was not tested. (It came complete with several cds, including a Jimmy buffett, which is appropriate for boating!. )

Also don't forget KPMG issued a clean audit opinion last year for Silicon Valley Bank.  Roughly negative 3 hours before the bank was seized by the FDIC. 

 However related to MBUU, It is interesting to note that KPMG gave a clean audit bill of heath prior to not only the SVB failure as Rennis mentioned above, but also Signature Bank (went down 11 days later),  and First Republic Bank (forced sale to JPMC). 

This an example of something everyone said they wanted so Malibu did it. They wont/arent worried about fixing this. They had such a difficult time even getting the parts that for awhile (possibly still) you couldnt even order the option.

Its a bad design. 

Its also a first world problem.

Unfortunately, that seems to be the “current” prices out there.  No plausible reason for that ridiculous price on a fuel filter/o-ring as far as I have been able to determine from researching it.  It’s a custom made filter for Malibu with the custom made price tag.  Haven’t had any success finding a cross reference filter.

Thanks. We ended up passing on the Telluride -- later found out that the airbags had been deployed. Ended up going with a Honda Ridgeline which has the adapter built in. Hoping it can handle yanking the boat -- says 5000 towing. Boat dry plus trailer should be around 4000.
