    • OK, just did some more work....and let me start by saying...YOU GUYS ROCK!

I think I just fixed the problem. By doing the electrical testing I was able to see that the green wire had continuity to two of the poles, but the blue wire had none to any of them. I removed the screws and saw how the wires came in. Interesting that they are each connected a bit differently. The green wire was more direct. The blue wire went through a kind f bus, where a plate carries the current across to the other side. And there is a metal tab that comes out and connects to a tiny metal post. It was a loose connection there. I did a (pretty poor) soldering job to secure it. But then testing it at various points, and finally with the assembly back together and got continuity form each wire to two of the four poles. Put the rotor back in the housing, connected the battery, and BAM! she was running!

above it even looks like maybe there was overheating that caused some melting of the plastic?

      soldered it....poorly, but it held.

So next step. I need to refill the pump chamber with hydraulic fluid? Not sure how full though. and then carefully reassemble. And then test.

    • Need a trailer for a 2020 Malibu 23 mxz around Austin Texas area or can travel. Let me know need one asap thanks! Also if you know anyone or any place selling one let me know!

    • thanks for the replies, definitely helps

    • You should really have a 2x4 or a 1x4 which is carpeted "stop bar".  That's what I have on my lift.  It's positioned so my tracking fin touches it, pull on lift slowly until tracking fin touches.  Easy peasy.  It's weak enough that if you really messed up the board will break before ever damaging the boat.

I'd forgotten about the ski-it site; Play-it-again-sports is something we've used before, too.

However, I'm curious about your pricing, unless their page isn't real, because full boots were upwards of 3 large, and the ski itself as well.  Size 14s doesn't enhance easy cost/find of anything not custom...

My son has a more recent HO with an adjustable large boot set; I tore the outer shell getting into the front one (since repaired, but making me reluctant to do it again for fear of ripping the other boot, too).

But I'll wander around the SIA and the three PIASport stores in GA when I get up there, to see if there's anything worth trying.  We have to get a bimini, too, so there will be various stuff before we start shredding.

      Thanks for the bounce.

Yeah, you need two.  You dont have to pay retail.  Look for 2023 or ski it again.  Tons of non-radar options as well.
