mobile site issues

Hey guys I just registered. Everything works fine on my desktop no issues, however when I try to use the mobile app on my phone I cannot log in . I get wrong username/password every time.

Anyone have any hints? "Site issues" sorry I misspelled that

FIXED: Please see this post.

I'm having the same issue on a Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

Thanks!

I have the same problem with my galaxy s5. Did it used to work with your note3? That would eliminate its our devices and its something with the site.

I just got an S5, and it looks like you have to delete the space after your username. The S5 conveniently adds it for you, and the TMC site software does not remove it for you.

Type your username, let the phone complete it for you, then go back and delete the space. The password seems OK after that.

Thank you Gary. I do not have access to a Samsung to test this on, but I was able to relay this on to another member that was having this issue & it worked for them. Samsung users, please pay attention to this.

Making this a sticky for now.

No problem. It only took a few tries to figure it out, but I tend to notice details like that with software things. Too many years of writing bad software, I guess.

So now I'm grumpy about the S5 not "supporting" the plain old android browser. It worked the best for me on the S4, but I apparently can't get it conveniently. Anyway, "Chrome" has an annoying feature that has it forgetting roughly once a day or so that I want to see the full site. I refresh a page and get the mobile site, then have to scroll to the bottom and tell it again that I want the full site. Gheeze. I have cookies enabled... is this truly a "Chrome" issue, or a TMC issue?

Other browsers generally have worse features, and some of them include the mobile site one also.

That kind of problem....it's really hard to say. My guess is that Chrome made some changes & we'll need to update/patch in order to catch up. And I do need to run a minor update, I just haven't had the time to do it. I'll try to get to it within the next week or so.

When we can finally get to the major upgrade, all of these mobile issues should go away. That version will support responsive web design, and because of that the standard skin will scale & rearrange itself appropriately. No more having to deal with switching skins or any of that nonsense. The testing that I've done on the dev site makes me believe that it will be a huge improvement in mobile user experience. But we're still waiting on one component to be updated, & can't do it until we have that.

Just got a Galaxy s6 and had the same issue as above along with needing to scroll down to load the full version each time. I wasn't sure if this was being worked on or waiting for the big update roll out? Thank you for all you do to keep this site running so well!

Chrome has been much better since the latest phone update from Verizon.

Edit: The checkbox for "request desktop site" seems to be actually doing its job now. Check your settings.
