I would think this style would look better:

Install with these clamps, and you would almost have as nice looking of a bimini as what I have from Star One:

Very similar to the one that Titan used to make for it...

Both seem like good buys!

I have the Titan 1 tower and until recently had my bimini up. You will still have one pair of straps that go to the back tower leg. The front of the bimini will attach with plasit thumb twist screws to the clamps. I will try to find a pic of my bimini in use.

so the clamps are so you dont have to fool with the straps and eyes right?

Theres a pair of the clamps that secure the front edge of the bimini to the front tower legs.

Another pair of clamps that secure the base of the bimini to the bottom of the rear tower legs.

And then the strap that JimJom describes pulls the bimini to the rear so it's tight. The stock bimini has a special clamp for the rear that has a screw for the bimini base, plus a knob for the strap. But I think I could figure out other ways to secure the strap too.

Keep us updated on this if you pull the trigger. I've been contemplating the ebay one or doing a DIY cargo bimini for a while now.

This one looks pretty tempting for only $225- granted it's not Sunbrella but hard to beat the price. I'm 6'3" and I'm getting up constantly it seems, so I'm leaning toward something that's easier to walk under. http://www.ebay.com/...=item1c2830bd3e I bought some racks from these guys and they're really high quality for the money. Hard to tell with the bimin though if it's flimsy POS or not.

I have been looking at this one as well. My only question is does it interfere with the rope when riding?
