  1. I have decided to go ahead and add a set pod lights to my tower. The only issue I have ran into is where to wire them up to under the dash. For some reason neither of my mux boxes have a spot for the lights. Am I just being dumb and missing something? Any help would be very appreciated.
  2. Hi, everybody knew Malibu owner here. 20 years with our air natique, what is th just got our Malibu and I want to powder coat the round portion of the tower. it looks like it bolts on separately, but I know there’s wires in there for the speakers and anchor lights. Has anyone removed this round part of the tower for refinishing and if so, is it difficult to do? I have a facility that can sandblast and do the Powder Coating save it to your files do from there, I’m just wondering what is going to take to remove the round tube portion of our tower. any info or feedback is appreciated, thanks!

    Sportster Tower

Does anyone know what kind of metal the painted tower on a 1998 Sportster is made of? I want to strip it and either leave it or repaint it.
  4. Got a question: I was wondering if anyone out there towed their LSV, or VTX with the Illusion G3.5 tower fully lowered.
  5. Hi all, longtime listen, rare poster but I'm looking (let me know if there is a better section for me to post this in) for anyone that might be willing to help. I need a 2018-2020 #23LSV w gx tower around Seattle Everett area that I can pay/trade/beg to have templated for a new cover. I totally get this is not idea and am willing to make it worth your time. I'm on my 3rd OE cover which are just not made to tow, and in short I just need to have one made by Evolution and he needs to template one. I'm in Utah and considering driving all the way out there for it, but would love to avoid a 3 day trip if possible. I'd pay him to come to you to make it easy.
  6. Hi everyone! I'm ordering a new cover from Evolution Covers and I really don't want to screw up my order by telling them I have a different tower than I have. So, it's time for super dumb question time... How do I know which tower I have? I'm 95% sure I have the G3.2, but want to make sure. It looks like Malibu put G3 towers on 2014 boats, G3.2 on 2015/2016 boats, and G3.5 on 2017+ boats. I've got a 2015 22 VLX with a G3.? tower. Any other way to make sure I know what I've got? Thanks Crew! Andy

    Tower Bimini coupon code

Does anyone have a coupon code for the Tower Bimini website?
  8. Hey guys I’ve bent my Bimini top and need to find the dimensions of the stainless pipe so I can get a new one made up. Does any one have a detailed diagram of one?
  9. Just bought a 22 MXZ, it 's our first wake boat. We realized we needed to upgrade when our boys started whipping our 16.5' Alumacraft fishing boat around while wakeboarding. I have to say we are absolutely loving our new boat and want to do right by her, so that brings me to you. We have a 9' garage door and need to lower the tower to get it in the garage. I was thinking of using a 100 lb bag of lead to weigh it down (since it could serve a dual purpose) but was wondering what you all use and if you have better ideas? Thanks!
  10. Just got a 2005 Response LXi and during water test noticed a hum and vibration between 30 and 36 mph then it goes away. No hum or vibration under 30mph. Had a pre-purchase mechanical and electrical inspection done at the local Malibu dealer. I specifically asked to have them check for the hum/vibration. They indicated shaft seal is good, shaft itself is good, prop is pristine (Acme 13X12.5) and they say tracking fins look properly aligned. Their explanation was hum and vibration caused by the tower (tube style). The boat had previous damage to the hull, prop/rudder/shaft and fins. All were replaced at the same dealer that did the inspection on an insurance claim to the time of about $14K (Canadian). What are the chances that the hum and vibration are coming from the tower as the tech indicated on the report; or the non spec prop being the issue (spec according to Malibu is 13X13); or maybe the tracking fins actually being slightly out of alignment (that can’t really be noticed on visual inspection)? Boat looks great, runs great (other than the hum/vibration) and is pretty low in hours at about 450 hours. I appreciate any feedback from anyone who has experienced the same issue or had thoughts on the potential causes.
  11. Has anyone replaced the plastic insert on their swivel tow point mounted on top of their tower? My specific tower is a Titan III on my "05 Waksetter VLX. The insert is grooved and rough on my ropes. Curious if there are any tips to be shared. Thanks.
