  1. Replacing my interior on my 2011 23LSV. In doing so, I have noticed that my cupholder trays are falling apart (no idea what they are technically called). I am referring to the cupholders that are in the gunnel on each side. They are attached by screws at the bottom and two bolts at the top that are mounted to the chrome handles. The plastics/leather that the bolts go through on the top have fallen apart and are no longer holding up which causes the whole "tray" to sag. I have no been able to find anywhere online (malibupart, bakes, greatlakesskipper, etc) that sells this piece. Was wondering if anyone else knows of where I could find replacements or know of a fix without having to go to through a dealer? Thanks!
  2. I bought my first boat, a 99 wakesetter on Friday and got to take it out over the weekend for the first time. Boat did amazing, but unfortunately on the ride home the rear hatch/engine cover (sorry, not good with the exact terminology yet so I hope I’m describing this part right) flew off the boat on the highway and was ran over before I could retrieve it. Needless to say I’m extremely disappointed, I bought this boat because it was in amazing shape and the entire interior was just re covered last year. i know I can find the vinyl to match but the problem is that the actual cover frame is mangled and broken and appears to be made from aluminum from what I can tell. I can’t find any info anywhere online about this part. I guess I should call the dealer and see if I can find it but is this something that is even produced? It’s an old boat and I’m guessing not a part people would usually need to replace although I can’t be the only person this has ever happened to. I thought about building my own frame from ply wood and having it covered professionally but would rather find an oem replacement or other solution before having to go that route.
  3. Hey guys, This post is more directed to my Canadian friends, how ever i'm open to suggestions. Im looking at purchasing a few parts for my '94 echelon and haven't had the best experience locating parts. Iv checked out Bakes (amazing site) but shipping to Canada is minimum 45-60$ when I was at the checkout. I though it would be worth while getting some suggestion/ recommendations put together just to see what's out there for parts on these older Malibu's. I do have a few local dealers but non specialize in Malibu so I was hoping for online options. Thanks everyone!
  4. I have a 1990 Malibu Skier. I had the misfortune of hitting a rock last weekend and trashed the prop, ripped the rudder off and bent the drive shaft. I am trying to find replacement parts. My local Malibu dealer told me I am SOL. Does anyone have any input on whether or not OEM parts are still available for this boat. Are there parts off of similar models that would be compatible, etc?
