Hi All, I’ve looked through everything I can and can’t find an answer so sorry in advance if it has already been covered. Has anyone installed and INDMAR sea strainer pro on a V drive boat? I’ve got a 2003 21’ LSV Sunscape and I’m looking for install advice and if possible. The strainer comes either straight through or a 90 at the inlet. I was thinking I can go the 90 style straight out of the ball valve at the pick up, lay it horizontal towards the back then curl a hose back. I was thinking this would also allow for easy inspection and maintenance. I was then going to install a transom service port (I think it’s called) to attach a garden hose to the flush part of the strainer so I don’t have to run the hose over the side and scratch the gel coat. Any thoughts or experience team?
Hey guys, I have a question regarding hull blistering. I pulled my boat last week for the winter and noticed quite a bit of blistering. I purchased the boat at the start of this season and did noticed these blisters but didn't let it get to me. Now that iv spent more time around the boat its starting to dawn on me maybe I should look into this a little deeper. My question is, Should I be concerned about this issue, should I do something about it or should I just turn my head and enjoy the boat? I absolutely love the boat, but it worth me spending more money on the boat having this issue? I was planning on putting a new interior, new sound system and just "resorting the boat". Thanks alot guys, and sorry i couldnt figure out posting images so you'll have to refer to the link blow for a few photos of the hull. https://jdoidge92.imgbb.com/ - (also I haven't cleaned the hull yet as the boats been sitting in a lake for 3-4 months)
Sorry if this has been covered but can't find in the search. I have to leave my boat in the water 2014 axis t22. I have an orange metal flake on the boat, I am so bummed I took the boat out and it has a darker line in it now. Can i sand this out? if so some good ideas would be helpful. I realize that the best thing is to take the boat out every night but its just not an option. Also thinking that ceramic after i figure out how to clean might better protect the gelcoat? t
Has anyone had cracking to the fiberglass and gelcoat in the hull? Local shop did a repair and 1 trip out and it's back, only worse now. They are now saying that it may be a broken stringer that is causing it.... Does this sound right?? Has anyone else had similar issues??
