My 2016 VTX 20 vibrates at low speed and just when I'm taking off to pull a wakeboarder. It seems to happen ONLY when I am using the power edge (in max curved wake position & plus full ballast). Once I get 10+ MPH it goes away. The prop is fairly new and I have felt it & done visuals and it seems to be fine. Is it possible that the wedge itself could be misaligned somehow causing vibration? My next move unless I hear otherwise will be to just go ahead & change out the propr to see if that helps...

Hi there - I have a 2005 Malibu Response LX and noticed I have a little bit of play in the rudder. My dad has a new / used 2006 Response LXI. He's is snug with no play. After doing some research I thought the rudder might need to be repacked to eliminate play and vibration when I make a hard right turn at idle speed to get the rope to a skier. I contacted skidim and they said my model does not have packing but only a seal. The seal kit is about $50. I have a few questions: Would replacing the seal eliminate some play you think? Has anyone done this on their boat similar to mine? Ski dim said they didn't think I'd need to pull the gas tank to do this. Any input? I'm hoping I could reach it by removing the back seat and floor panel.

Greetings all, I recently had an accident with my boat where a brutal storm almost sunk my boat. Thank God it sunk near a shore where it was retrievable. I'm in the process of repairing the damage. I was able to crank the engine up. Now I'm repairing the cosmetics and external damages. The boat was laying on the bottom of the lake, so most of the weight was on the propeller. I recently had the propeller repaired. Looks great. I took out it out for a test drive and notice a lot of vibrations on the boat. I'm guessing the shaft was bent. But I also notice that the boat prevented me from accelerating faster speeds. I know that there is a sensor that slows down the boat if services is needed. But I didn't know it was able to read the damage of the shaft. OR am I missing something else? Is the sensor indicating that something else is wrong, other than the shaft? So, I'm in the process of replacing the shaft. Please let me know what else I should replace or look into. Any info is greatly appreciated.
