  1. So I just got the boat last week and had it for the first time on the water, 2004 Wakesetter, noticed that the PP and all gauge are working but the needle of the analog tachometer doesn’t. I asked the previous owner and he said it was always working and I think it was actually working when we ran it first at his location. can anything happen on the hauling? Wind? Wires? I tried to look under the dash (and that’s a cluster of wires lol especially with that fancy sound system). Is that something that occurs often? Quick known fix? Which wire should I look at? Where? There’s a part at the engine side I should look at?
  2. I have a 2003 wakesetter with a 335 monsoon that is fairly original. The tachometer hadn't been working for a few seasons so I thought I check the connections around the distributor cap and coil. I unplugged inspected and plug back in what I thought was the tachometer connection by the coil and now the boat won't start. I checked all the connection plugs and everything seems fine. I disconnected the battery and reconnected to see if I had tripped something. With the exception of the tachometer the boat was running beautifully. Not sure what I might have done or how to diagnose the problem. Anyone have any suggestions, your help would be much appreciated
