  1. 2009 VTX Anyone know where to buy those little plastic plugs that cover the vent/drain holes on the bottom of the seat cushions. I have a bunch missing. Searched everywhere and can’t even find what they are called. Thanks Justin
  2. Hello! Can someone help direct or suggest a problem we have. My brother has a 2004 Malibu Wakesetter VLX and needs the couch seat dimensions. It the part of the couch that your back rest on. This is not a straight, it wraps (curves) as you can see in the picture. We are having to build this piece because we are unable to find it. If anyone has the dimensions, templete, recommendations on where we can purchase, etc... Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks - Traci
  3. Hi, I recently purchased an 08 Wakesetter 247 and the drivers seat became detached from the floor of the boat. The carpeted base piece has about 16 screws in it, which don't all appear to be factory. The screws in the corners are larger, and might be factory, but also may have been a previous attempt to re-attach the base to the floor. Does anyone know what is directly underneath the floor in that area? I'm wondering if I can drill a small hole and attach some bolts/washers under the decking to secure that carpeted base? The seat also has a riser which I think may have caused the screws to rip out in the first place when a lot of pressure was applied to the seat back. If I shouldn't drill a hole and add bolts, any tips to re-secure to the floor since there are already so many stripped holes?
  4. If you have a wife or daughter like me or another boat driver that has trouble seeing over the front of the boat while surfing, you might want to elevate the driver's seat a bit more to help them see better. After pulling my seat out and thinking about how to best elevate my driver's seat, I ended up just buying a new swivel base to add to the existing seat base arrangement. I had to go to the Malibu dealer, which set me back about $130, but with the addition of four stainless steel bolts, made the modification quite simple. The net result for us it raised the seat up another 4" so the driver's view is much better over the front of the boat. And the beauty of it is that the seat still pivots as before without hitting anything new. For the record, this is on my 2007 VTX.
  5. What's Up Crew??? I have my 2007 23LSV in my garage for some maintenance and clean up. One item I"m trying to "repair" is the swivel resistance on the drivers seat. I can loosen and tighten the knob with no impact on the resistance of the seat swivel action. I took the seat about and looks like the cable from the resistance knob routes to INTERNAL portions of the seat back. I am clueless on how this would affect the swiveling action of the seat on its base. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks for any guidance and knowledge you can share. Cheers, Scott
