  1. I have a Malibu Echelon 94 boat. There's a second red wire off of the battery with a 4 amp in line fuse a few inches off the terminal. The fuse blows every time I turn the ignition key. I'd thought it went to the radio- as that wasn't working, but after replacing the small radio 10 amp mini fuse, the radio works now even with this other fuse blown, I'm curious what's it's purpose? Anybody know?
  2. Have a 99 Sunsetter LX w/ the Monsoon. Having an issue where all my electric on the dash goes in & out. Its slowly gotten worse with time. This year starting out, the gauges don't work, the blower didn't work, & even the radio. The Battery was fully charged, the boat starts right up with no issues, even when none of the things on the dash are working. After getting up to speed all the sudden, everything will start working, but will then all of it will keep randomly cutting on & off. Is this most likely a ground issue? Or the computer going out (I know that it can be with gauges, but it doesn't make sense to me with the blower & radio also not working, they shouldn't be running thru the computer, are they? I don't have a battery switch on it. Appreciate any feedback . Thanks
  3. 2004 wakesetter VLX with Clarion 475 radio. Fairly new to Malibu. Sound system was working great until boat got rained on at dock. Now radio and remote units are completely dead. SRC (off on button) has no effect. Screen on head unit blank. Was able to access the two fuses (15A and 1A) supplying power to the unit and both are hot on input and outlet side. Shy of pulling the side panel off or radio out of its slot are there any other troubleshooting ideas out there? Other than power supply not sure what else other than dead radio would result in no indication on the head unit. Any ideas are appreciated
  4. Help!!!! My factory radio is not working. It automatically goes up to full volume and makes the boat unusable. I can use the mux switch to see what is happening. The head unit on the side of the dash by the walkthrough has nothing on the screen. I want to just disconnect the power so I can’t use it. There is not a fuse under the dash in the medallion box. How do I just disconnect the power?
