  1. Hello, I have been having issues with my 2022 Axis T23 with the M5di motor. We are having the issue of the engine management light coming on for 2 seconds and then disappearing whilst the boat is under load (fully ballasted and travelling at 10.8mph). When this happens the boat slows down to a speed less than 9mph and doesnt allow us to accelerate more. As soon as you stop the boat and put it back to neutral and go again its normal. This is happening around 4-5 times per hour of surfing. The code that is showing in the fault codes is: - Injector High Side Short to Ground - 7 (SPN 657) and (FMI 4) - Injector High Side Short To Ground - 2 (SPN 652) and (FMI 4) We have replaced both injectors which has not helped at all. We have also tried rotating injectors from other sides and checked all engine grounds and it keeps happening. We are based far away and the dealer has also tried to fix it 3 times now and cant seem to find the problem. Has anybody else had this issue or have any idea how we can resolve this?
  2. Thought it might be a good idea to put a thread together for everyone to reference in the future if they have an oil filter part number question. Early M5/M6 engines (beginning to very early MY21 models): WIX: https://amzn.to/3RDiTu3 NAPA 7214 : https://amzn.to/3t2LrCV Late M5/M6/All LT4: https://amzn.to/467J4xA Will update if there are any changes.
  3. Hey everyone, the packing on my waterpump went out and I'm shooting water out the back of my pump. The plan is to replace it because I'm told to repack it I have to take it off anyway, so I figured if I'm taking it off I might as well replace it. Does anyone have the manual or step by step on how to change out the water pump on a 2019 23lsv with the M5 engine? I'm mechanically inclined, just like the step by step to ensure I don't forget anything since I don't normally work on these types of engines. Thanks!
  4. I'm thinking of buying the 2021 Axis A24. I currently have a 2019 Axis A22 with the 410HP Monsoon. We predominantly wake surf although there are a couple rare wakeboarders in our crew. We live on a lake at approx 500 ft elevation, so altitude isn't a problem. I'm hearing the new A24 with the M5di and the 2 to 1 transmission with larger prop is more than sufficient. Does anyone have any experience with the larger boats and the M5 vs M6. I'm also very interested in any information I can get regarding the supposed increase in gallons per hour with the new engine. I'd really rather not spend the extra money on the bigger motor if I don't need to. Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
  5. I've got a 2020 axis t22 with a M5di engine, just got it delivered brand new this march. For the first 70 hrs, the engine ran like a champ. Then it got to a point, when it start to stall for no reason when i am accelerating from idle to surf speed. It happens at around 1500-2000 rpm during acceleration to surf speed (which should be around 3500rpm), the engine just cut, then the service engine and MIL comes on with a long bee alarm. Then I just turn the key all the way off and restart, and every thing was fine. There are times that this happened 10 times a day and there are times that it ran all day with no problem. The fault codes I found was inactive: spn 4237 fmi 0 spn 4239 fmi 0 So far, I have my O2 sensors cleaned, fuel filter changed, fuel pump filter changed trying to solve this problem, but it still continue to happen at random. Does anyone have any idea about this? Any suggestions would be helpful, Thanks.
  6. Looking at some 2020 23 LSVs with different motors and would love some insight / opinions. The end game for me is surfing with the optimum wave...full ballast, PNP, 500 lbs of lead up front / port coffin and a 500 lb bow sac when needed. I'm in the Midwest at a lower altitude (810'). Can a M5 with a high altitude / torque prop do everything I want it to do or do I need to go bigger? Does a M6 and / or 450 require a high altitude prop? Fuel efficiency difference in the three motors (when surfing)? Are there any other factors that I'm missing? Were the transmissions / ratios all the same for 2020 23 LSVs? Thanks!
