  1. One of front bow railings on my 07 LSV23 has been damaged. Does anyone have a replacement they want to sell (I've read some people have taken them off) or where I can procure or fix one? Thx.
  2. Hey Folks, I have 2018 23 LSV with stock stereo. After some time on the water the interior speakers start buzzing, regardless if audio is playing or not. Tower speakers are fine. I have only noticed it happening now that it is getting hotter in Phoenix, so I've checked out the amp temperature and it's hot but not on fire and I don't have any towels resting on it. The ground wire is securely attached as well. Buzzing video below: https://imgur.com/09x8qkg Any suggestions I can try to fix? or need new amp?
  3. Hi all, longtime listen, rare poster but I'm looking (let me know if there is a better section for me to post this in) for anyone that might be willing to help. I need a 2018-2020 #23LSV w gx tower around Seattle Everett area that I can pay/trade/beg to have templated for a new cover. I totally get this is not idea and am willing to make it worth your time. I'm on my 3rd OE cover which are just not made to tow, and in short I just need to have one made by Evolution and he needs to template one. I'm in Utah and considering driving all the way out there for it, but would love to avoid a 3 day trip if possible. I'd pay him to come to you to make it easy.
  4. Hello Everyone! I'm new to the boating world and am in love with the Malibu 23 LSV. I want a surf/wave boat with a large lounger in the back for sunbathing. I usually get about 3 of us that want to go out on the lake, anchor, and sunbathe. The newer 2021 has a walkthrough in the back. Yes, I know I can get a cushion to go over the walkthrough. However, the dimensions of the new lounger can only fit one person, it would be very tight for two people lying sideways. My question is which year Malibu 23 LSV has the largest lounger for sunbathing in the back? I know the 2020 doesn't have the walkthrough lounger but the lounger dimensions seems smaller than the later years. Only looking into 2016-2020. I might be wrong and the dimensions of the sunbathing lounger for the 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 Malibu 23 LSV might all be the same dimensions. If that is the case please let me know. I just can't find anywhere online what the dimensions are of the lounger for sunbathing. If there is another brand of surf boat that is 23 feet and has a larger sunbathing lounger please let me know. Budget is $110k. (On a side note looking for all black exterior.) Please advise. Thanks in advance! Jason

    Deciding new model

Have started researching for next years upgrade. Currently own a 17 22mxz and love the boat, but don’t want to own it out of warranty. That all being said, saw that they have added a 23 mxz to the lineup while keeping the 22 mxz. Does anyone have any insight as to why? will they eliminate the 22mxz in the near future? I recall when I first was looking in 2016 that Malibu had a 20’ mxz which only lasted a few years before being discontinued. Wife and I also want to surf behind a 23 LSV for wake comparison, but saw that they added a 22 LSV. Any inside info from someone that works for or in Malibu would be extremely appreciated. And if your feeling up for it - Wet Sounds or JL for tower speakers and sub ? TIA from New England.
  6. Props are discussed offer but I am looking for someone with a identical set up, or close, running a different prop. 2018 23 lsv 410 raptor. 80 feet elevation (so basically zero) stock ballast. Bow, center, rear +plug and play 540s. 150 lbs lead in bow 100 lbs left side ski locker against back seat wall currently running a Acme 2249. They called it the high altitude prop. I have no issues with this prop ( except higher rpm than desired rpm NOISE) I can put 7 people plus full ballast, wedge and no issues. It’s a champ. i can run full ballast wedge down all the way at 23mph, no problem except it’s screaming rpms. I don't really wakeboard anymore 23mph just surf 11mph and I don’t see myself using full ballast at 23mph anyway it’s just to crazy. so all that said I want to get the rpms down. Of course bigger diameter is the solution but can’t do it on this boat. The next option is the 2247. Equal to the 2249 in all but cup. Cup will act similar to increasing diameter. anybody running a 2247 with similar set up? Had a long educational talk with Acme and they say best thing is apple to apple comparison. fyi. 300rpm change is a big noise difference
  7. I'm trying to decide on a few final options on a 2020 23 LSV build with the 3.5 tower. I've searched this forum. I have the 2020 brochure in my hands. I've sat in front of the dealer's portal. It appears that my dealer's portal is not been completely updated. Has anyone found it challenging to try and get everything together and the options laid out in one easy to understand location? There has to be some disconnect from the factory to the dealer (and I like the dealer). Does anyone have a number to the factory? Malibu really should produce a short consumer video for every option. 1) 360 Tower light is on my build sheet - MSRP $875 is listed under Tower & Accessories. I have checked the boxes for Docking and transom lights already. It's not listed in the 2020 paper brochure. It can't be a navigation light. Would this be the only interior light if selected? 2) Bimini - options - I have selected the Great Lakes flip bimini w Surf storage MSRP $2326. I've looked at some videos, and it appears to be a solid choice. I'm looking for the best design to deploy and put away with surf storage. Any reason to reconsider and select these others? CS Bimini Top Extended Gen II Surf $2387, CS Bimini Top Gen II Surf $1757, CS Bimini Top and Boot w/ Rope Storage (2 pockets) $1419 The portal does not show the CS Gen III Extended with rope and surfboard storage. I like like the shade, but think the extended may be to big for he 23 anyways. 3) Cool touch interior. Likely going to pass. We're going with the light graphite interior. We live in the north and we have towels on board. If it was considerably "higher quality" I'd consider it. I've found nothing to support that.... yet. 4) Tower speakers - This topic has been hammered and it has to do with one's preference. it's unfortunate that I likely won't be able to listen to them in advance of the order going final. I'm not looking to "shake the lake" & we'll mainly surf with the some younger kids / families. 2 pairs of ICON8s - 4 speakers on the tower should do it. If I'm completely off base, and should consider get 2 pairs of Rev8s or 1 pair of Rev10s, I'd like to know. If I wanted 2 pair of Rev10s it would be roughly $1600 MSRP over the current ICON selection. I just want to do it right the first time. I don't want to go stereo delete. Thanks in advance for the candid input! The M6di is going to rock.
