  1. Good evening everyone! I've been a long time lurker here - this forum's been incredibly helpful since I bought my 2006 Wakesetter LSV about three years ago. During dewinterization this year, I definitely let a bit of oil in the bilge, tried to mop it up. I've been chasing down a leak or two that have been relatively easy to identify - the cross hose between the two exhaust manifolds and whatnot. However, there's one I can't quite identify. On the front port side of my engine, towards the top, I have a little bit of a leak now and again coming from what appears to be an upper part of my engine. The water that's been collecting in the bilge has had an oily sheen, but I'm still not sure if it's residue from my oil filter change or if it's oily water itself (though doesn't quite seem to be). Anyways, here's the link to the video and a few pictures: https://photos.app.goo.gl/vADGkEvdtCJh8qz3A Request help and perhaps anything I can do about it! Thanks!
  2. Our ‘99 Malibu has been taking on a bit of water and the auto bilge has stopped working. While we wait for marina to look at the bilge pump, we want to do some diagnosis. There is a small permanently wet patch on rear right side of carpet (when standing looking toward steering wheel). Couple of questions: 1. How to unscrew that carpet area that can open to see if anything is leaking in there (center back is like a carpeted door) and 2) has anyone had a similar leak? >> I wasn’t able to add my pic Appreciate help! Thanks
  3. We have a 1999 Wakesetter that has a mystery leak which manifests itself in two ways: - the back port/passenger corner carpet is soaked in the morning in front of the bench, but dry underneath the bench to the back of the boat, and dry from the engine cover forward (mid boat engine) - leading us to think the water source is somewhere forward in the boat, although the ski locker seems to stay mostly dry. - when at the dock, the bilge seems to pick up ~5 gallons of water an hour we’ve bypassed the heater, replaced the cooling hoses, and sealed the HDS box on the top side... any and all thoughts appreciated...
