  1. I bought my first boat, a 99 wakesetter on Friday and got to take it out over the weekend for the first time. Boat did amazing, but unfortunately on the ride home the rear hatch/engine cover (sorry, not good with the exact terminology yet so I hope I’m describing this part right) flew off the boat on the highway and was ran over before I could retrieve it. Needless to say I’m extremely disappointed, I bought this boat because it was in amazing shape and the entire interior was just re covered last year. i know I can find the vinyl to match but the problem is that the actual cover frame is mangled and broken and appears to be made from aluminum from what I can tell. I can’t find any info anywhere online about this part. I guess I should call the dealer and see if I can find it but is this something that is even produced? It’s an old boat and I’m guessing not a part people would usually need to replace although I can’t be the only person this has ever happened to. I thought about building my own frame from ply wood and having it covered professionally but would rather find an oem replacement or other solution before having to go that route.
  2. My 2008 Sunscape LSV has a loose arm rest where the throttle is I can see where the screws pulled loos from the backing block but can’t figure out how to disassemble/reassemble it - any thoughts, ideas or experience with this and I would very grateful 🙏
  3. Hi y’all. I’m new here so I apologize in advance if this is not the right area to post this. I have a 2005 Malibu wakesetter vlx. This past winter with the help of a friend I installed a new stereo system. During this time I took off the arm rest/head unit cover. I’ve managed to reassemble everything else, but it seems I have lost the arm rest/ head unit cover. I was wondering if anybody new where to find a replacement. I have spent the past couple of hours trying to find one on the internet with no success.
  4. Can anyone please relay Chee’s info? I’ve read so much about his work and have no other leads on reasonably priced but super quality work. My boat has gone through nearly a full rebuild but my interior is beyond repairable. This is the last thing standing in my way from enjoying some nice Sunday afternoons on the lake! Thank you!
