    I have a 2012 VLX with 350 hrs. Yesterday it got a tow rope caught in the prop. I was able to remove it completely, however I notice it has pushed the cutlass bearing in at the prop end about a 1/2 inch. It normally sits flush with the end of the strut. Seems the set screw wasn't tight. The rope did not get into the bearing. There is no vibration and the boat runs great. There is no play in the shaft. It's like it was when new. The bearing at the other end is flush. Should I be concerned that the bearing is not flush?
