  1. We purchased our first Malibu this spring and it's beautiful black and silver. We have it moored for the summer but we pull it out once a month to thoroughly wash it, to keep the water spots, on the black, at a minimum. I originally purchased Hot Sauce to spray on it but I noticed yesterday, when we washed it, that there are still some water spots showing. I'd love to hear from all of you, who have dark colored Malibu's, what you recommend for water spot prevention. Currently we wash, dry, then spray/wipe on the Hot Sauce. Any advice is appreciated, we are trying to keep it looking new even thought we are using it a lot. Thank you!
  2. Hi All, I’ve looked through everything I can and can’t find an answer so sorry in advance if it has already been covered. Has anyone installed and INDMAR sea strainer pro on a V drive boat? I’ve got a 2003 21’ LSV Sunscape and I’m looking for install advice and if possible. The strainer comes either straight through or a 90 at the inlet. I was thinking I can go the 90 style straight out of the ball valve at the pick up, lay it horizontal towards the back then curl a hose back. I was thinking this would also allow for easy inspection and maintenance. I was then going to install a transom service port (I think it’s called) to attach a garden hose to the flush part of the strainer so I don’t have to run the hose over the side and scratch the gel coat. Any thoughts or experience team?
  3. Water got it the bimini and cover while zipped up. I have yet to find something to get out the stains. Any suggestions? So far I've tried a bit of everything I have laying around: Vinyl Sauce, Babes Seat Soap, Hot Sauce, Folex Carpet Cleaner, Chemical Guys Boat Wipedown, OxyClean, Vinegar/Dawn mix, regular laundry detergent through the washer. Nothing's touched it so far.
