Hello out there spring is coming quick, trying to match (GREY) carpet in my boat floor, would perfer to only do the floor and not the walls. Does anyone know or recommend the how and where to color match and get the right quality and pile for this job ?
  2. Howdy TMC, been searching for a long time about this question and still nothing. Here is my dilemma. We have a 04 response LXI and carpet is needing an up do. We have thought about gator step, replacing glue down carpet or getting snap in carpet. gator step is most expensive. We were in contact with tommy's GR and got quotes for everything and too expensive and long wait time for the service to be done.. THE PROBLEM is that the glue down carpet is annoying to clean so we want snap in... the issue is that the floor underneath glue down is not sprayed with the floor material, it is raw fiber glass.. we would need someone to spray or put a floor down to allow them to map out the floor for a snap in system. gator step is also undoable because the floor situation. At this point the only other option is removing glue down carpet and having new carpet glued in. We do NOT want more glue down carpet. Does anyone know another option, have any advice or know anyone in the mid Michigan or Cleveland OH area who can help us? Thanks everyone!! oh wait also we want a new steering wheel or the current steering wheel reupholstered. any ideas for that too?
  3. I am thinking about replacing the carpet on the floor, the transom walk through, and the swim platform with sea deck, hydro deck etc. should I stick to grey and black or go to a wood teak color? I really like the new boats with brown interiors and/or flooring but don’t know if it would look correct in my boat due to the black and yellow color scheme. Let me hear you thoughts? 4. I just purchased this boat, and the existing carpet is in pretty rough shape. Has anyone pulled the carpet on theirs? Is it rough or gel coated fiberglass underneath? Any suggestions on where to look for flooring options? Doing some googling isn't pulling up anything on this year and make. Thanks for your help!!
  5. I have a 2001 Sunsetter LXI and I am thinking about replacing the carpet with a Deckadence alternative. It looks like those materials only come 4’ wide which means I need to seam my floor. Where is the best place to put the seams and piece the flooring together? Does anyone have pics of their creativity when doing a project like this around the dog house?
