  1. I just purchased a 2007I just purchased a 2017 wakesetter MXZ with 73 hours in it. I live in the Lake Tahoe area and just had to get the boat inspected before going out on the water. They are really thorough here with inspections would have to do a hot water flush through each ballast tank before you can go on the water. My pumps were filling up fine at the inspection and everything drained correctly. However, when I got on the water and hour later I went to fill up the tanks in the right rear ballast pump will not fire. I just opened up what I believe is the pump that will not fire and I don’t see any debris in it. I’ve heard about people resetting the fuse for this but I’m not sure where it is located. Has anyone else had this issue? Please help as we have a ton of family coming into town for the fourth and everyone is looking forward to using the new boat! Thank you in advance!
  2. So I have a new 4 channel amp to power the tower speakers in my '98 Response. Speakers seem to be fine (we tested with a home stereo receiver before buying the amp). For whatever reason, it seems the only sound coming from the two tower speakers is bass, and only bass. I am not sure why or how to correct this. Any suggestions? TIA
  3. First, let me say thanks to the forum members for support in figuring out how to build the RCA and remote power adapters. My upgrade is complete but I picked up a buzz from all speakers at low/no volume. Not sure if it’s the adapters I built, but could use some thoughts on isolating it. Motor is off so its not the typical ground fault issue that causes the alternator wine. The sound does not increase... just an audible buzz when music is not being played. Subs: 2 JL 12w6v3’s in ported enclosures - 1.3cf tuned to 33 hertz Amps: NVX VAD27001 for Subs - Overkill, but I might add another sub down the road and I didnt want to draw a lot of current. 3 NVX VAD8402 amps for the cabin (front/rear) and tower speakers

    Amp/sub help please

Need a little help, installed Rockford amp/sub this winter. Had my sub dialed in and sounding great with boat off. Finally got on the water and holy crap! Super loud with boat on. Wired amp direct to battery. 2019 Axis A20, 2 batteries. Should I have wired to the switch instead? Do I need a capacitor? If I dial it all the way down when boat is running on the head unit, it’s too quiet with boat off in accessory. Any wiring advice so I don’t have to adjust it every time I turn the boat on/off?

    Rockford P300x2 - no sound

Anyone ever have one of the amps go out but still show a power light? My Rockford P300x2 that powers the 12" sub in my 2014 23LSV shows power light and getting just shy of 12v at the amp with it not cranked (New batteries). I pulled the sub out of the box and wired the sub directly to another amp and got some sound so i don't believe it is the Sub itself. The RCA wires aren't long enough to move them from another amp to the P300x2 to test it that way. Anything else I should be doing to test it before I buy a new amp? Thanks Ryan

  7. Hey guys, been on the fourm for a minute and haven't posted anything because I haven't needed to have anything cleared up. We ordered a 2018 22mxz last year and have loved it. Before we took hold of it we had the dealer install 2 pairs of Rev 10's which are just insane. Also, we have the standard interior wet sounds configuration with the 6 mid-range drivers as well as the 12-inch sub. In September the dealership called us and explained that we had a third amplifier sitting and ready to be installed for the sub. (I believe it was a 500 watt amp just for the sub). This made sense to us because the tower was easily twice as loud as the interior. We figured that the amp that was powering the sub as well as all the interior speakers was going to just power the interior ones and we would have one just for the sub. This would hopefully make the interior, hopefully, just as loud as the tower. Having many people around us who own new Malibu's (2017's and up with the new wet sounds stereo) and being able to crawl around in them I also noticed that they all have three amps to power the entire boat. Also, during the 2019 boat we checked out a 2019 22mxz and it also had three amps and the sales rep explained that one was for the tower, one was for the interior mid range drivers, and that one was for the sub. We asked him if we could do the same and he said yes that's what they recommend if you want the best. We contacted our local dealer after the boat show and asked if they could install it because we wanted to have all three, however, the response was a lot different from what we expected. All of a sudden they did a 180 and said that our boat could not have a third amp and that it cannot be done. Even though they were willing to and should have done it during the winter. I am now wondering if I can just grab the amp from the dealership and wire it up myself since its just a factory amp and it should be easy to do with the new wet sounds wiring harness. Anything helps thanks guys!
