  1. ‘07 Malibu with air intake vents on front bow behind grills, take on water when wave hits nose. Any solution other than “not hit waves”? Have to run shop back hose down to get out of vent tube. Vent hose ends in battery compartment, not sure if that is where it should or not. Water from hose not getting in there due to sagging the flexible hose about a foot after entering. Thoughts?
  2. I have lsv23 wakesetter 2014 Indmar monsoon 350. Engine turns over strong but won’t start. There is a high pitched faint alarm that starts when I turn the key to engage electronics , blower and spin up fuel pump. It coincides with a click I hear from the engine air intake butterfly looking valve. I took off the air filter and can see the valve move. I could be wrong but I am associating this alarm-like sound coming from this immediate area and the alarm starts and stops (11 seconds duration) with the slight movement of the valve up in the cylinder. Could this be an alarm indicating there is a problem with the air intake?
