  1. Hi All, I have a 2020 22 MXZ and I am having trouble with my center ballast tank fill indicator only showing a max fill of 90% before I have water coming out the side. It will not show 100% full when I have a consistent stream of water coming out of the side of the boat. Has anyone come across this issue in the past? I feel like something may not be calibrated properly in the software or that I have a bad signal coming from that ballast tank? Or could it be something as simple as I have some trapped air in the tank its not letting the float for the indicator come to the top of the tank? TIA
  2. Hey all, Hoping you can help provide some insight for me as I begin my search for a new boat. I’ll start by saying I had an 06 21’ VLX that I sold in 2013 and this would be the first boat since that one. We have really gotten into surfing over the past few years when our on the lake with friends and family and are looking for a boat that has a superb wake for surfing along with plenty of room for friends. We unfotunately can not afford many of the brand new boats from Malibu (budget less than $95K) and are presented with a few options. Should we consider a brand new 21’ VLX, 21’ MLX or pursue a slightly used 2016-2018 23’ LSV or 22’ MXZ? Wake performance is obviously really important to us, but so depreciation curves and maximizing the value of boat for the $. We of course plan to demo each of these and see for ourselves but would love to get your thoughts as well all. Thank you in advance!
  3. New to the forum and looking for good insight from current Malibu owners. We are looking for a new boat this summer and we've narrowed it down to two options, an older Malibu and a new Axis boat. We currently have an 05 Nautique SV211 so anything will be an upgrade but I also want to know we''re making the right decision. The 2015 22MXZ only has 80 hours and its fitted with PW2 and includes the PNP sacks. Really a beautiful boat. Asking price is ~75k The 2019 A22 would need to stay under the 80k range so based on research would include the stock engine and sound, etc. We have yet to determine what the 5 year factory warranty is worth to us so have yet to factor that it to our decision. Looking for any helpful feedback and looking forward to being a part of this community. Thanks in advance!
