We have a 2008 23lsv. I have just ordered factory tower cages for some speakers as the original owner didn’t have tower speakers. Will I need another amp to push 2- 8” towers? Or can I use the two stock RF amps? Second question, is there a way to upgrade the JBL black box to get Bluetooth without ruining the MUX stereo control?
Hello! New to the site! I recently bought a 2008 247 LSV with the Hammerhead engine. We have put about 35 hours on it this summer and it has been great, just rolled over 500 hours! Going to do an oil change tomorrow. I can't seem to find anywhere on the site, suggestions about the best way to drain the oil (how to catch it all without it making a mess in the hull). I have Valvoline 50W Conventional to put in and a mercury filter, both to match what the dealer used before I bought it. Any other tips, tricks or need to knows? I'd like to change my transmission / v-drive before I start the season. I'm comfortable changing the oil, but having an issue determining what exactly I need to do. I'm confused as to when I look at the v-drive, I see two dip sticks. But do they each take different types of ATF? Here's a photo... And yeah, it's dirty, I know. Any tips on how I could clean this area up?
Hey everyone, I am a year old Wakesetter owner - dug into the forum last fall for winterizing advice and was impressed with the quality of information all around!! This spring rolls around and I’ve got some issues with my 2008 Wakesetter XTI, Indmar Monsoon 5.7L 340. Hoping to get some ideas! The issue first became evident when I smelled a burning rubber smell after cruising WOT for about 5 minutes.
